What is North Cypress Bariatrics?

North Cypress Bariatrics PA was created to serve patients in a unique way. As a weight loss surgeon in Houston, Texas Medical Center, I see some of the most complex bariatric problems imaginable. In fact, when other bariatrics surgeons and doctors within a 100 mile radius cannot care for particular complex issues or are not in a hospital suitable to care for such patients, they are often transferred to me in the medical center. This experience allows me to deal with complications that I ordinarily would not deal with, preparing me to deal with many different kinds of problems such as eroded gastric bands in pregnant woman, perforated marginal ulcers in gastric bypass patients, leaks from sleeve gastrectomy, and so on. Another advantage of being in Houston’s Texas Medical Center is all the other multidisciplinary services that are available to me to help me deal with complex patients.

There is nothing we are not prepared to deal with down here.However, since I live in Cypress, I feel the need to serve my very own community. As a result, I am bringing my Texas Medical Center experience to Private Practice Service to Cypress while continuing to work at the University of Texas. Being an Associate Professor of surgery is wonderful because I get the opportunity to train medical students, surgical residents, and fellows; however, private practice in Cypress allows me the opportunity to serve Cypress patients more directly and form working relationships with other doctors in my community. I am happy to come to Cypress and serve patients at North Cypress Medical Center, Methodist Willowbrook, and Cypress Fairbanks hospitals.
